A not-so-quick coloured drawing of yours truly, though it doesn't look anything like me, haha! XD I tried adding my red highlights to the hair but I don't think it worked very well. - sigh- Anyway, hope you all like it!

The worst is over... I think...

I think I'm finally getting over this bout of sickness... though I had to visit the doctor TWICE! Once was last Saturday just before my trip to Singapore and the second was yesterday when I was due back at work. I was in no fit state to even drive so my parents drove me to see the doctor. She had to give me a med cert for this week to recuperate. The rest was much needed because now I'm feeling much better, yayyy! She prescribed me stronger meds compared to the previous ones, which I think did the trick as well. Sigh, this is the second time this year that I've been sick and it's only February!!!

Anyway, being sick is totally boring and irritating, I am not the world's best patient, always whinging and grumbling. ;p So now that I'm feeling somewhat better but still on sick leave, I decided to do a drawing on the ol' tablet, to depict my woes of being sick as hell! As you can see below, the medicine I was given was YUC-KY! But of course, I had to keep taking it... ewww! And yes, my hair is as tousled and I'm always in my jammies - how to go out, I'm sick! :( Anyway, insyallah, I'll be better by next week and back to work for me! Wish me luck! xxx

Ein Gutes Neues Jahr 2010!!!

Hey all! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappy New Year!!! A day later but it's all good! Lots of best wishes to everyone. Hope you like the quick CG sketch I did to celebrate the arrival of the new year!

Unfortunately, I can't write much at the moment. Taking a breather before going on to do more work. Yep, my weekend is unfortunately not work-free yet again... [sigh]

Happy Christmas 2009!

Just a quick message to wish everyone celebrating a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!! Hope you all had a brilliant day with lots and lots of pressies! Well, I didn't have lots, hehe - only one but its totally kawaii!!! A huge domou arigatou to the one who gave it to me, you know who you are! [big hug] I'll post a picture of the gift later! Commissioned Artwork: Krafty Kat

Stella asked me a while ago to draw a cat mascot/logo for her art website, Krafty Katz, which is currently under construction. I basically did one incorporating a bit of my manga-style drawing, and the outcome: a very artistic looking cat! XD Anyway, she seemed pleased with the drawing. Aesthetic Tribute: November 2007

Haha, yeah, this is a late submission! I had a lot on my plate during the last few months so never got the chance to finish the drawing till recently. Anyway, it's a fanart of Hayami Masumi from the manga "Glass Mask". I've uploaded two versions: inked and coloured. Yeah, I'm going to start colouring my drawings. Though I still prefer just pencil sketches, I know I need to improve my colouring skills. On a side note, I have now achieved one of my new year resolutions, haha!

I had a bit of time today, so I decided to do a quick CG illustration for the new year! Thanks to Fifah, I'm more encouraged to do CG works. So with this greeting card, I'd like to wish all my family and friends a happy new year! Lots of love and plenty of best wishes to all!

And with that, I have beaten my October posting record of 14!!! So now I'm off to play some fireworks and then enjoy a midnight celebratory meal (it's laksa, yummy!), courtesy of my mum! ;D I bid you all and the year 2007 adieu!!! [muah]

While in Brunei a few weeks back, Rozi introduced me to her niece, Fifah (a.k.a. Anime610), a talented girl who's very into manga. I admire her determination in drawing manga, especially at such a young age. I'm 30 now, and have yet to start one, I've just been doing illustrations! Anyway, Fif, keep up the great work! And I don't mean to be cliched, but "practice makes perfect"! ;D

Anyway, I was teaching Fifah how to use Photoshop for cleaning and colouring her illustrations. She asked me to CG colour her October 2008 drawing. Now, I've only done two CG coloured drawings and that was 5-6 years ago! So I was a little worried about my first attempt after so long. But you know what, Fifah loved it, and that really boosted my confidence. I know I've a long way to go, but it's a good start. :D
