...and that is apparently what Paul Potts is! This is another one of those interesting things on youtube, which was shown to me by my cousin's friend last week. Anyway, there was a show called "Britain's Got Talent" this year, a competition in which the winner would get a lot of money and the opportunity to perform in front of Her Majesty The Queen at the Royal Variety Performance. Potts is a Carphone Warehouse manager who has an amazing and powerful voice for opera. At first, I thought Potts was able to sing the way he did just by doing "karaoke" type singing, but he actually had quite a bit of experience. However, he is still considered an amateur since he had never done any performance for pay. Still, it shows how much determination he has, despite his lack of self-confidence. Anyway, the following three videos are in order of his first audition in the show (singing "Nessun dorma"), his semi-final performance (singing "Time to say Goodbye") and finally, his Royal Variety Performance.
